I took it easy this weekend, recovering from being busy starting a new project at work last week while my inlaws were visiting.

This past Sunday Merhawk and I went hiking in Big Basin Redwoods State Park. It was part of our we-don't-care-about-the-Super-Bowl plan I wrote about recently. Today is Super Bowl XLIX, which is apparently Latin for "Super Bowl 49". It'll be the most watched TV program of the year, according to the International Business Times (article), which estimates 115 million will watch. I will not be one of them. That makes me embarrassed for not tuning in to support my country, because apparently the US won in a 43-8 blowout. U-S-A! U-S-A!
